About Michael
I’m an Indiana University student who is about to complete my B.S. in Chemistry. I tutor Mathematics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Science, and Electrochemistry, and I’ve also worked as an undergraduate teaching instructor for Organic Chemistry. That teaching experience helped me learn how to explain difficult topics clearly, break problems into simple steps, and help students build confidence through practice and repetition.

My lessons are structured, clear, and focused on building real understanding, not just memorizing steps. We start by identifying exactly where you’re getting stuck, then I explain the concept in a simple, step-by-step way and immediately apply it with practice problems. I’m about to complete my B.S. in Chemistry, and I’ve worked as an undergraduate teaching instructor for Organic Chemistry, so I know the common points where students struggle and how professors usually test the material.
During sessions, I emphasize strategies you can reuse on quizzes and exams, like how to set up problems cleanly, track units, recognize patterns, and check your work so mistakes don’t repeat. We can work directly from your homework, lecture notes, textbook, or past exams, and I can make extra practice problems if you want more repetition. I’ll also help you build a quick study plan between lessons so you know exactly what to practice and why.
