About Lucy
I am a 29 year old Sydney based designer who has 7 years experience working across Interior Design, Film Set Decorating, Prop Manufacture and Scenic Painting. I have worked in both the London and Sydney film industries and have developed a broad range of design and manufacturing skills ranging from the Adobe Suite and CAD technical drawing, to woodwork, metalwork, ceramics, painting and drawing.
My focus is heavily on Sustainable Design and I am currently pursuing this as a Masters at the University of Sydney. I have previously studied Design at the university HDK in Goteborg, Sweden, and completed my bachelor of Design at UNSW. I have maintained a HD average throughout.
Through this I have developed strong skills in essay writing, project report developement and project presentation. We can use these to help build any theoretical work required in your project and develop a strong skill toolkit ready for whenever needed.
I am eager to mentor students and adults to help them maximise their creative potential and fully realise their vision. I'm here to take on exciting new materials, designs and challenges with you!

I can provide tailor made lessons to help guide your current projects or essay works. My teaching method can also be shaped according to the expectations of the learner, but I hope to bring a comfortable, fun and engaging learning environment to all sessions.
Lessons can be suited to any age and desired activity. For example, some areas of focus could be:
- Free-hand drawing; sketch; perspective, three-dimensional thinking, atmospheric and spatial drawings
- Painting
- Botanical Drawing
- Creativity-enhancing exercises
- Conceptual development
- Designing your processes and project development
- Using different production mediums together; as digital-physical tools
- Ceramics
- Photoshop/ Adobe and how to utilise Wacom tablets
I can also assist with Art History and Essay Writing.
