About Florence
I am a motivated and committed Saxophone tutor with 11 years of experience and around 150 students successfully guided. I believe music education should be structured, encouraging, and inspiring for every learner.
My classes focus on mastering key fundamentals such as breath control, embouchure formation, tone clarity, articulation techniques, and rhythmic precision to build a solid foundation.
In addition to technical training, I include scale practice, music theory, ear training, and exposure to diverse musical styles to promote versatility. As students advance, I encourage improvisation and stage performance preparation to strengthen confidence and creativity.
I personalize lessons based on individual learning pace and maintain consistent communication to ensure progress. My goal is to inspire long-term passion, discipline, and confidence in every saxophone student.

My teaching methodology for Saxophone focuses on Communication, Accountability, and Integrity to help students develop both technical mastery and musical expression. I begin by building a strong foundation with posture, breath control, embouchure strength, and tone production.
I explain each concept clearly and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure effective practice. Lessons include scales, articulation drills, rhythm exercises, and performance pieces. Weekly structured practice goals maintain accountability and consistent progress.
I provide honest feedback to guide improvement. Integrity ensures students develop correct habits and long-term growth. In addition to Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Improvisation fundamentals.
