Teaching Methodology and Techniques
My teaching is learner-centred, structured around the student's goals, prior knowledge, and learning style. I use a blend of:

-Socratic questioning to stimulate critical thinking and encourage students to explore concepts independently.
-Scaffolded instruction, breaking complex ideas into manageable chunks, gradually building toward mastery.
-Active learning, incorporating exercises, discussions, real-life examples, and problem-solving to reinforce concepts.
-Multimodal resources, including diagrams, code snippets, videos, quizzes, and simulations to cater to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.
-Formative assessment, such as short reviews or low-stakes quizzes, to adjust pacing and revisit weak areas regularly.

A Typical Lesson Plan
-Warm-Up / Review (5-10 mins)
Recap previous content or explore a quick, thought-provoking problem to activate prior knowledge.
-Objective Setting (2-3 mins)
Outline the session’s goals clearly so students know what they’ll achieve.
-Concept Introduction (15-20 mins)
Present new material using visuals, real-world analogies, or live demos. I encourage questions at every step.
-Guided Practice (20-25 mins)
We work on structured problems or case studies together. I provide prompts and gradually reduce support.
-Independent Practice or Project Work (10-20 mins)
Students attempt tasks independently or work on a longer assignment. I monitor and assist as needed.
-Review and Reflect (5-10 mins)
Summarize key takeaways, address remaining questions, and assign brief follow-ups if relevant.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
-Tech-Integrated Instruction: I use collaborative whiteboards, version-controlled code platforms, and interactive quizzes to make learning dynamic and engaging.
-Customized Resources: I adapt material to suit individual students, whether that means creating simplified summaries, practice tests, or project guidance.
-Real-World Context: I link theory to real-world applications, particularly in STEM, coding, or professional fields, making lessons meaningful and motivating.
-Empathy and Patience: I prioritize creating a safe space for learning—students are free to make mistakes, ask questions, and learn at their own pace.
-Feedback-Driven: I collect regular feedback and adjust my methods to ensure progress and confidence-building.

Who the Lessons Are For
I primarily tutor:
Elementary, middle and High School Students in:

-STEM subjects (Math, Physics, Computer Science)
-Programming and Web Development (e.g., Python, JavaScript, MERN stack)
-Academic Writing and Study Skills

Lessons are tailored for beginner to advanced learners depending on the topic, with a focus on outcomes like grades, project completion, or skill development.
