About Joel

Guitarist/composer/songwriter/teacher originally from NYC. Active pro since age 14. Have taught in public and private schools; music stores; private studio; in-home instruction companies for many years. Very good communicator for all age groups and levels.

Have prepared students for recitals and school auditions. Have given career counseling.

About the lesson

I read each individual student and proceed from there. I teach from music that students have already heard, and show how to physically approach them on the instrument. We start with easy material, then slowly build from there. Lessons are relaxed and fun.
