About Akram
My approach
I believe children learn best when they feel safe, respected and encouraged rather than pressured.
I take the time to understand each child's individual needs, personality and learning style. Sessions can be adapted depending on whether the child needs academic tutoring, mentoring, additional encouragement or simply someone patient who can help them stay focused and engaged.
My sessions are child-centred, structured and flexible, with the goal of helping each child make progress while developing greater confidence and independence.

I focus on building a positive relationship with the child, identifying what they find difficult and breaking tasks down into manageable steps.

Every child learns differently. My aim is to create a calm, positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable, understood and confident enough to learn at their own pace.
I offer one-to-one tutoring, mentoring and additional support for children who may benefit from a more personalised approach, including children with special educational needs or who may struggle with confidence, concentration, communication, organisation or classroom-based learning.
