About Lisba
I am a fun and friendly dyslexia/SpLD tutor. I provide all age learners with structured, evidence-based literacy and study skills tutoring. The lessons are personalised to strengthen reading, writing, critical thinking, and independent study strategies. I include games and activities as well as traditional writing and reading tasks, to make it as fun as possible. I monitor progress through formative assessment and progress tracking.

I provide learners with structured, evidence-based literacy and study skills tutoring. The lessons are personalised to strengthen reading, writing, critical thinking, and independent study strategies.
The lessons are flexible in terms of your needs and can be up to 50 minutes per session. The first lesson is free, which consists of informal assessment on reading and writing, to get to know the student, their learning approach, additional needs, planning for the future lessons etc.
I have a full professional membership with British Dyslexia Association, allowing me to teach SpLD students up to age 18.
Qualifications include:
Postgraduate certificate in Dyslexia teaching
BA (Hons) in Childhood education
Level 3 award in Education and Training (over 18 years students)
