About Arun
Hello, I am Arun. I hold a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Statistics, and I graduated with the University First Rank in my Master's program.
Currently, I work full-time as a Research Associate, where I use statistics to work with real-world data and research problems.
As a tutor, I like to keep things simple and patient. I understand that Statistics can be difficult, especially when the concepts start becoming more mathematical. I focus on explaining things step by step, answering your questions, and making sure you understand the concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas.
My goal is to help you feel more comfortable with Statistics and become confident enough to solve problems on your own.

Who These Lessons Are For
I teach Statistics and Probability to university students and high school students. I can help with topics ranging from basic probability and distributions to hypothesis testing and more advanced statistical concepts.
My Teaching Approach
I don't believe in simply memorizing formulas. Instead, I focus on helping you understand where the formulas come from, why they work, and when to use them.
We'll go through the concepts step by step and then apply them to problems, so you can become comfortable solving questions on your own.
I provide tutoring and guidance rather than completing assignments, writing theses, or taking exams for students. My aim is to help you develop the knowledge and confidence to do your own academic work successfully.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
1. Understand your needs: We'll first look at your syllabus, coursework, or the topics you're struggling with.
2. Build the fundamentals: I'll explain the underlying theory clearly and work through the important concepts with you.
3. Practice problems: We'll solve problems together and gradually move towards more challenging questions.
4. Software support: If your course involves SPSS, Excel, or similar tools, I can also help you understand how to perform statistical tests and, more importantly, how to interpret the results correctly.
