About Myrai
Hi, I’m Myrai! I’m an associate degree graduate in Liberal Arts: Math & Science and currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Oceanography.
And because I’m a student too, trust me—I know what it feels like to look at a problem and think, “Okay…but how did we even get HERE?”
That’s actually a big part of why I tutor. I believe struggling with a subject doesn’t mean you can’t learn it; sometimes you just haven’t had it explained in the way your brain needs yet.
I’m patient, encouraging, and big on creating a judgment-free environment. Ask the “silly” question. Tell me you’re completely lost. Ask me to explain it again. We’ll slow down, figure out where the disconnect happened, and build from there.
I genuinely love science and learning, but more importantly, I want you to leave our sessions feeling like, “Wait…I actually CAN do this.”

STEM can be challenging, and sometimes you don’t need someone to repeat the textbook—you need someone to explain it in a way that actually makes sense to you.
That’s what our sessions are for! Whether we’re working through chemistry, biology, natural sciences, trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus, we’ll take it one step at a time. Bring your homework, study guide, practice problems, class notes, or even just the topic that has you completely lost.
I use examples, analogies, visuals, repetition, and plenty of practice to help you find the learning style that works for you. There’s no embarrassment about asking me to explain something again—or explaining it five different ways until one finally clicks.
This is your learning space. We can prepare for an exam, catch up on concepts you missed, work through assignments together, or strengthen the basics before moving forward.
