About Roman
My name is Roman.
I am a professional storyboard artist with a BFA in illustration. I have worked on music videos for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, commercials for Target and American Express, and movies distributed by Lionsgate.
I teach everything from visual storytelling workshops for CBS and NBC, to fine art painting classes for unhoused artists on Skid Row.
As an instructor I am warm, enthusiastic, and love to follow student's interests rather than teach a set curriculum.

Using insights from a decade long career as professional storyboard artist in Hollywood, I will teach you how to take the ideas you see in your mind and communicate them with effective drawings.
Rather than working through a pre-fixed cirriculum, we'll start by identifying the ideas you want to visualize, then create a custom lesson plan that gears each exercise toward helping you draw those specific ideas.
These lessons are for anyone who wants to use drawing as a way to share their ideas with the world, so whether you are an aspiring artist or simply a person who wants to communicate clearly with others, these lessons are for you.
