About Miranda
I take tutoring seriously and approach every lesson with preparation, structure, and clear goals. Before beginning, I consider the student's current level and areas that need improvement, and I plan lessons accordingly. I keep track of the topics we cover, the student's progress, and the areas that require additional practice or review.
As a student myself, I understand the difficulties that can come with learning mathematics and the importance of having an organized approach. I continuously work on improving my own mathematical knowledge and teaching methods so that I can provide clear and effective explanations.
My lessons are conducted in a respectful and focused environment, with punctuality, preparation, and consistency being important to me. I communicate clearly with students and, when appropriate, with parents about progress and areas that may need more attention. My aim is to provide a professional tutoring experience where students know what they are learning, why they are learning it, and how they are progressing.

Students should choose me because I don't believe that learning mathematics should mean memorizing something today and forgetting it a week later. I use spaced repetition and regular review to help students retain what they learn and build a strong foundation step by step. Instead of constantly moving forward while old topics disappear, I make sure important concepts come back at the right time so they become easier and more natural to remember.
I also focus on understanding rather than simply giving students formulas to memorize. I want my students to know why a method works, when to use it, and how to approach a problem independently. I adapt lessons to the student's current level, identify gaps in their knowledge, and use targeted practice to strengthen those areas.
My goal is not just to help a student get through their next homework assignment or test. I want to help them develop mathematical skills that stay with them, improve their confidence, and make future topics easier to learn. With consistent practice, spaced repetition, and lessons built around the student's individual needs, we can turn weak areas into strong foundations and make steady, measurable progress together.
