About Shailaja
I am a Y13 student and have been tutoring as a favour for the kids in my local area for two years, as well as mentoring several students from a range of years at my school as requested by my maths department. I myself have taken Maths up to A-Level after achieving 9s for my GCSEs (I also achieved 9s in my GCSEs in triple science exams in case any help is needed there) and I am predicted an A* from my top grammar school.

I go through the Maths syllabus topic by topic, aiming to consolidate the student's understanding by working step-by-step through work problems and slowly removing my guidance until they can work on questions and get the correct answers by themselves. I tailor my lessons and my timetable according to what the student is struggling on the most and I have been told that my methods have been rewarding and enjoyable (which is what encouraged me to apply in the first place!) I am happy to teach online at any level up to A-Level.
