I am offering maths lessons for GCSE and A-Level students. I am very patient with my students, and I make sure they understand all the steps in each maths subject. I tend to focus on the subjects the student struggles with and simplify their approach.
I prefer to tutor 7+, 11+ and GCSE student, help them with Mathis, Science and English. I can only teach after school hour or weekend and willing to travel 10 miles. I can start syllabus from the start and chart out the number of lesson needed finish the course, also give tests after each topic.
In private tuition, I establish student's interest and focus to science and maths by developing curiosity. I believe private tuition is more than just teaching the subject. I encourage my students to be successful by drawing their attention to the topic. Eventually, they feel motivated to learn and study. Different students require different approaches to learn and succeed.
I teach using exam past papers as high grades is what most students want to achieve. I go through every type of question so no unpleasant surprised can occur during an exam and students will be ready. This is after a good understanding of the topic has been established.
I have a master's degree in business with a focus on finance. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject and I've tutored in algebra for both peers and students my junior and senior. I try to listen carefully to student needs and use that to create my teaching methodology. I work on the same problems as my students in an effort for us to complete a learn as you go methodology.
I'm a university math student who gives lessons to students upto grade 9 With my students I work on making their mathematical foundation strong and by eliminating the gaps of their subject knowledge. I try to develop the student further by giving him extra practice that will make he/she much better at the subject and further teaching the student on how to apply the knowledge.
Having successfully Teaching in Secondary Schools; tutoring in Mathematics for over last 30 years. Being highly qualified with BSc (Maths), MSc (Maths), BEd, PGCE and producing results for my students by teaching mathematics in an easy to understand fashion.
At the first meeting, with the prospective pupil and parents, I establish a working relationship between the three parties to a positive outcome for the pupil. I try to get a general idea of the pupil's ability and aspirations. This enables me to plan a programme of tuition.
My approach toward teaching maths is to first browse the topics the student is currently covering at school and identify any particular areas they may be struggling with. Once we've identified these potential problem areas, we can then work through them by using examples to solve them together to build confidence so the student feels able to tackle these problems individually.
I am most comfortable working with the 5-15 age groups and concentrate more on the basics of the subject as I feel if your basics is strong you can do excel in whatever you like in the future. I believe in experiential tutoring so that the topics sticks with the student.

I prepare students for the exam by going through past paper questions and explaining in an easy way to understand, how they can reach the answer. I teach maths up to A-level or first year of most degree requiring maths.
I base lessons on the curriculum and the school's scheme of work aimed for each year group. I teach by modelling excellent examples with clear and concise methods. Once students are able to understand basic methods I provide challenging/ engaging resources in order to secure depth and understanding through problem solving questions.
My teaching method would be to start with the theory behind a particular idea followed by examples and questions as in maths the easiest way to learn is by doing. Always open to feedback from individuals to make improvements.
I'm a Chemistry student at Imperial College London. I want to teach younger kids in my spare time to help them improve their knowledge. I want to pass on advice and teach them in a easily and friendly manner. I believe the best method of learning is being thrown into the deep end. By this, I mean I wish to teach ahead of the school syllabus.

My teaching method is simple, I show the student the specification and we work through it systematically with mini tests (to highlight which areas need more work) between the completion of each topic. I aim to work ahead of what the student may be doing in class as the student may be capable to learn faster but due to having 30 kids in a class they can be held back.
I achieved 8 A*s at GCSE with 4 As and 2A*s and 1 A at A level I Teach Maths, Physics and Economics. I teach any ages up to a A Level standard. I use similar methods that I have been used at my Grammar School that has seen much success where over 90% students achieve A*/A at GCSE in Maths.

I HAVE A PhD DEGREE IN APPLIED MATHEMATICS SPHERICAL SYMMETRIC CHARGED EINSTEIN MAXWELL HIGHER ORDER NON LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.AT THE MOMENT I AM PhD RESEARCH STUDENT ON THE TOPIC OF SOCIAL NETWORK ANALYSIS TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES (SCHOOL OF COMPUTER) IN PORTSMOUTH UNIVERSITY.
My teaching method is to explain, go through examples with the student and then sent the student separate examples at the end of the lesson to test understanding. I like to see that the student can complete examples with my help first and then without my help to ensure full understanding.
I like to understand where my students may be lacking and fill the gaps until they become strengths, because I believe in order to get good grades you need to be able to have consistency across the subject. I encourage my students to work things out using their own mind instead of just giving the answer I will push students to explore every possible alleyway for the answer.
I like to make students feel comfortable and show that no question is a silly one. I'm extremely patient and I've taught all ages throughout school (A Levels and below). Mostly I give lessons to all below University level, with a focus on Physics and mathematics. I will focus on getting the student to understand concepts rather than learn formulae by heart. My professional experience is testament of my skills. I have number of students who travel to my home and as such I will not accepting your request unless you are happy to travel.
I am passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. I obtained a bachelors degree in computer science and a masters` degree in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton with a distinction.
My teaching method is adaptable, based on the level of the student and the way they learn. This includes working through problems together, assigning tasks and talking through problems, and setting individual work which will be marked. I believe students should first learn how to do a problem, then go through a problem with someone, then do the problem themselves, then explain it to the tutor.
