My tutoring is aimed towards students up to and including GCSE level. I tend to run one or two sessions per week on a regular basis. For each lesson, I will have pre-prepared two to three topics to teach as well as questions on each topic to work through together.
I am offering maths lessons for GCSE and A-Level students. I am very patient with my students, and I make sure they understand all the steps in each maths subject. I tend to focus on the subjects the student struggles with and simplify their approach.
My teaching method is straight forward, motivational and enthusiastic. It will be based solely around the exam. Therefore, the knowledge I teach will all be relevant and necessary, which will provide an effective and efficient teaching style.
I am patient and gentle but have high expectations and will stretch you to reach your potential. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and believe that everyone can learn a language to a very high standard.
I like to be flexible with my students, understand the best method they’d like to learn in, as I am adaptable myself.
It varies from person to person I prefer to learn visually but others learn by repetition or practical application so it is down to the individual
In private tuition, I establish student's interest and focus to science and maths by developing curiosity. I believe private tuition is more than just teaching the subject. I encourage my students to be successful by drawing their attention to the topic. Eventually, they feel motivated to learn and study. Different students require different approaches to learn and succeed.
Making sure students have a clear understanding of how the topic works before they begin working on questions in that topic
I teach any STEM related subject to GCSE level and Bioscience related subjects to an Undergraduate level. My lessons are bespoke, catered to individuals' requirements, and are run as a discussion, allowing the student to ask questions throughout the session.
I based my class on the parts that students found the most challenging and how I would appoarch these topics in a easy and understandable way. I also have experience from teaching and helpibg yr7s who are struggling at maths from my own school.
My method of teaching consists of three steps; 1. Explain how to answer a question step by step 2. Make detailed notes for each topic with examples and let my students read and understand them in my presence and finally 3. Provide students with atleast 5 questions to have plenty practice.
I can teach both over Skype or in person, depending on the needs of the student. I try to establish a strong relationship with my students to create a comfortable atmosphere in which they feel comfortable asking questions.
I can offer fun online or face to face lessons covering the whole of the GCSE maths curriculum. I can set homework and past papers for the students to complete and am available most days. My teaching views is that maths should be enjoyable whether it comes naturally or not.
I teach using exam past papers as high grades is what most students want to achieve. I go through every type of question so no unpleasant surprised can occur during an exam and students will be ready. This is after a good understanding of the topic has been established.
I am available to teach children up to the age of 15, helping with both mathematics and English. I am good at working with children who find certain parts of Maths and English challenging, and using different techniques and exercises to overcome these sections. This can be done by breaking things down to basics, and repeatedly practising before increasing the difficulty level.

My teaching method is the simplest method, and I it is basically what most teachers teach, there are many different methods to solve problems, some can be hard and some easy. I choose methods that students can understand very easily, no matter how long the process is, because there are many shorter ways to solve some problems, but it is not always that easy to understand.
At the first meeting, with the prospective pupil and parents, I establish a working relationship between the three parties to a positive outcome for the pupil. I try to get a general idea of the pupil's ability and aspirations. This enables me to plan a programme of tuition.

My approach toward teaching maths is to first browse the topics the student is currently covering at school and identify any particular areas they may be struggling with. Once we've identified these potential problem areas, we can then work through them by using examples to solve them together to build confidence so the student feels able to tackle these problems individually.
