About Julia
I am currently a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania planning on majoring in economics. In high school, I was on the advanced math track, successfully completing every offered math course up to multivariable calculus. I received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam and a 35 on the math section of the ACT. This past year, I've continued to pursue my passion for math in college, taking classes like statistics.

My method of teaching involves first doing a complete review of the material. This involves looking at example problems and breaking down key equations. Once I feel my students have a firm grasp of the concepts, I provide them with practice problems that mimic the ones they are likely to see on a test or homework assignment. Although I will be there to answer any questions they may have, I try to have them figure out the problems on their own. I believe this is the best way to learn the material.
