About Leonette
I am a campus journalist with 4 years of experience, specializing in news writing and science and technology writing. Through Journalism, I have developed strong skills in explaining information clearly, organizing ideas and writing accurately and responsibly.
Additionally, I have joined in both district and regional press conferences, which helped me in strengthening my critical thinking, writing and communication skills.
Academically, I consistently garner 94+ in English and 95+ in Science, showing my strong understanding of both subjects
In addition, I have both joined in Spelling bees and Science Quiz bees, which trained me to think and understand quickly.
As a tutor I plan to use my background in journalism and academics to help students understand lessons better and communicate their ideas especially in science and writing.
Additionally I can help in proofreading and editing essays, science papers and homework.

My science lessons are for grades 4-8 students who want to better understand science concepts and how to write science papers as a beginner. I teach Basic Life Science, basic Natural Science and fundamentals of physics, focusing on ideas rather than memorizing facts.
I will explain lessons step by step and is accompanied by visuals. I encourage asking questions to help me better guide them.
Please note that I teach depending on my student's learning pace.
