About Nathan
I currently attend the University of Virginia with an intended major in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science. I enjoyed math because of how it challenges my brain to keep growing. Initially, I wasn't the best at math but I enjoyed practicing it in my free time and eventually started taking math classes two grade levels ahead of me in the 7th grade. I truly believe that anyone can be good at math if they can find their purpose to improve.
Besides academics, I enjoy playing basketball and am a fan of the Sacramento Kings. My hobbies include exercising, going on walks, and trying out every restaurant/cafe. I am also a fan of music and enjoy almost all genres.

As a tutor, I make learning fun and easy by adapting to how each person learns best. I focus on helping students understand concepts, memorizing them, and using real-life examples. In each lesson, we review the materials learned and build a strong foundation before moving on to new concepts. I will also help go over schoolwork and provide additional practice if needed.
I stand out because I can adjust to how you like to learn, make sure what you're learning is useful in real life, and keep things interesting. I love answering questions and believe it is an important part of learning. I'm here to help K-8th grade. Whether for class or personal growth, I want to make learning enjoyable and useful for their future academic path.
