About Nyla
As a former International Baccalaureate (IB) student now pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Microbiology at McGill University, I understand firsthand the dedication required to excel in advanced biological sciences. My tutoring methodology bridges the gap between demanding secondary school curricula and the rigorous analytical skills required at the university level.

I utilize visual mind mapping to help students not only understand but visualize complex pathways and cascades. I focus on active recall to help students model exam conditions. For example, utilizing whiteboards, brain dumps, and quick-fire questions. I help students customize their answers to the IB questions by recognizing and mastering command terms and studying answers to past papers.
