About Leah
I have tutored students for an entire school year while still being a student at the school. This allows me to connect with the students more easily, further benefitting my understanding of their needs. I am currently studying at the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science. I love teaching students and enjoy trying new things if the old tricks do not work, as well as letting students suggest topics and lessons.

I will use proactive lesson planning to fit they students needs for each subject, checkpoints to assess their progress, and open communication with all parties to ensure the student is progressing efficiently. I am not the type to give assignments that need to be completed outside of the session, as students usually have a lot going on already. I am still studying myself, so I can relate to the students in school-life balance, failed study habits, or having bad school lunch. I specialize in STEM courses from the Gen Eds of college and below.
