About Lauren
I completed an undergraduate degree in Contemporary Music Studies and have over 6 years of online guitar teaching experience.
I previously worked at Riverstone Youth Arts Academy, Oregon, teaching beginner guitar to school-age learners and adults returning to music later in life.
Afterward, I joined Creative Sound Institute, Arizona, where I focused on helping beginners overcome frustration and build confidence with practical exercises.
I received a Creative Music Mentor Recognition Award for beginner-focused guitar teaching approaches.
I currently teach international students online and enjoy learning about different musical inspirations from around the world.

I teach guitar lessons for complete beginners wanting relaxed and encouraging learning experiences.
Students learn acoustic guitar, electric guitar, beginner blues, rhythm guitar, rock foundations, strumming patterns, chord transitions, scales, timing improvement, finger placement, and performance basics.
I personalize lessons according to musical interests because students stay motivated when practicing music they genuinely enjoy.
My goal is to make guitar learning exciting instead of overwhelming.
