About Abel
As an Aerospace Engineering major with a Computer Science minor at the University of Maryland, I bring a strong academic foundation and a passion for helping others succeed. I’ve consistently maintained a 3.857 GPA and have been named to the Dean’s List four times. My studies have given me deep knowledge in Math, Physics, and Programming—especially Java—all of which I enjoy sharing with others through tutoring. Beyond academics, I serve as Secretary of the Ethiopian-Eritrean Student Association and am an active member of the National Society of Black Engineers. These roles have strengthened my communication, leadership, and time management skills—qualities that directly enhance my ability to teach effectively and connect with students.
