About Ava
Graduating with a First-Class Joint Honours degree in Sustainable Development and Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews, I later earned an MSc in Sustainability, Energy, and Development with distinction from Durham University. Within my studies, I explored a wide range of interdisciplinary theories, concepts, and real-world challenges relating to energy, development, decolonisation and much more, critically analysing sustainability issues from both environmental and social perspectives. I am passionate about understanding complex global systems, challenging conventional ideas, and finding innovative solutions for a more sustainable future. As a highly experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated academic and researcher, I aim to bring this passion into my teaching. My lessons are engaging, interactive, and designed to encourage critical thinking while building your confidence.
