About Tara
Hello, I have been the Headteacher of Tara's Academy for 18 years. I have seen many children benefit from my tuition. I include in those numbers my eldest son, who is now at university studying to be a doctor.

- Classes
At our study centre we offer English, Maths, Drama, Dance and French. We have small classes. Each child is taught in a unique way. All the staff are kind, caring and considerate and we always achieve very high results. In my staff are: trained Maths teachers, English teachers (myself included), Dance teachers and a local French teacher. Everyone is CRB checked and the ethos is fun through learning. We also offer cooking classes to gain confidence in general life skills.
What is different about us? We are all mothers and when you send your child to us, we treat them as if they are our own. We care and support them as we would our own children. I have two boys myself, one at university and one smaller one in year 4.
Both boys have had issues in Education. But with nurturing and attending the Academy that I set up, my eldest achieved 12 G.C.S.E's (despite having dyslexia and confidence issues in our local comprehensive) 3 Alevels and is now studying to be a doctor. My youngest was bullied and got behind in his work, after being at the Academy for 9 months he is now top of his class for all his subjects.
We aim to do the same for all children. We will help with homework,confidence and plan their time. We also offer Drama classes and Dance classes as extra.
- Ages and Levels Covered
Our ages are 4 to 7, 7 to 11, 11 to 14 and one adult class(18 plus). This is one adult learner class for EAL and we would happily start more.
- Opening Times
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

English- £10 per session( 4 to 11)
