About Francesca
I am currently a secondary school English teacher, after not studying English at university I have completely fallen back in love with it over the course of this past academic year. English was always my strong point in school but I decided to undertake a social sciences degree at university in Childhood studies. Learning about how different children interpret information and how to connect with a child ignited a passion for teaching in me. I am happy to say I have enjoyed every moment of teaching this past year and I am intrigued to see how much progress we can make in a 1:1 tutoring session!

My teaching approach is one full of kindness and patience. I am very quick on my feet, if one way of thinking isn’t for you I will adapt it until we reach the answer together. Some argue English is tricky because it doesn’t follow a pattern and can all be a bit intangible, I have worked to create a formula for how to answer each GCSE question. Equally, if you are someone that values creativity and relating the components of English to your personal life, I am always excited to reimagine how I can demonstrate! I am here to make English accessible and enjoyable to every student!
