About Maurice
Organized and flexible, I find that my qualities as a responsible teacher, my ethical principles, my knowledge, as well as my teaching skills and experience can be of great service.
Coming from a dual culture ( I am Franco-Lebanese), I am open-minded and speak three languages very well. I'm used to working and adapting to different audiences. I have already taught, in Lebanon, in four very different establishments in terms of the social composition of their students and their functioning.

Whether it is high school or college, History, Geography or the History-Geography-Geopolitics-Political Science option (HGGSP, 1st and Terminal classes), the emphasis is on the acquisition of skills in the first place. It is therefore capacities which are worked on (a table of these capacities is exposed from the start) and they are accompanied at the same time by the acquisition of knowledge.
I particularly insist on the meaning and the scope of the events. and not withhold information (we do not say it enough, the teaching of HG is not "to tell a story", then to recite information without logical connection. I insist precisely on the link between the events.

Maurice est un collègue avec qui j'ai travaillé pendant de longues années en école doctorale. J'ai également eu l'occasion de le voir préparer ses cours de lycée.
