About Prerna
I'm a scientist-in-making , currently doing a PhD in Innate Immunology Lab at UQ. I'm a science enthusiast, and get really happy to see young buds willing to get into STEM fields. If you choose me to tutor you, rest assured to never get bored while learning (trust me we won't be getting into a single paragraph without a nice illustration). We'll be together in the journey to learn even the most complex course material by breaking it down into easy chunks, and you'll never forget it again. Hi! If you're looking for a tutor who can break down complicated concepts to easy-to-grasp lesson plans, I'm here to help.
I can teach Biological Sciences and Chemistry related subjects to students from any school level, preferably High School, uptil Bachelors.
I've been tutoring Bachelors students at UQ in Cellular Biology, Virology and Genetics subjects for over a year now and I've always gotten a good feedback of making concepts easy to understand.
I will provide 30 minutes- 1 hour learning sessions based on the course and subject material.
I usually give practice questions after the session to discuss in the next session to see if you've grasped the concept and have any doubts
My teaching style is more illustrative and interactive rather than text and rote-learning based, monologue format or too many tests :)
I just want to make learning fun and the lessons permanently etched in your memory.
