About Raphael
It’s a pleasure to meet you! My name is Raphael. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Teaching License in Biological Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at the University of São Paulo (IB-USP), where I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Genetics. Additionally, I work as an Environmental Educator at a private school.
I teach because of a deep passion for life, biodiversity, and conservation. What drives me is helping students see biological processes with the same wonder and enthusiasm that I have, turning textbook concepts into a new way of admiring and understanding the world around us. And when you truly understand and appreciate the world, caring for life naturally follows as a bridge to a more sustainable future.

I have years of experience in educational support, academic monitoring, and Environmental Education in various contexts, and I use this background to help Middle School, High School, and college prep students understand biological concepts and processes and overcome difficulties in a light, direct, and straightforward way.
How my classes work:
• Focus on your needs: We work directly on assignment lists, textbook material, or the subject matter that will be on your exam.
• Focus on understanding: Clear explanations so you truly understand the content instead of just memorizing it.
• Mastery of the most tested areas: My Master’s research at USP integrates Genetics, Ecology, Evolution, and Sustainability, guaranteeing a deep mastery of these areas. For High School and college prep students, I also teach Physiology, Zoology, and Botany, and for Middle School I provide full support in the Science subject.
Individual or group classes via Google Meet or in-person.
