About Rachel
Hi there, I'm a 26 year old from Atlanta, Georgia. I attended the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree. After college, I spent a year in a small town in Spain teaching children English. After this, I worked as a paralegal where I further refined my writing skills. I am looking forward to combining my love of teaching with my love of writing on this platform. In my free time, I like to do yoga, explore restaurants in new cities, and go on walks with my dog.

In writing and other subjects, I understand from personal experience that personal attention to each student matters. Typically, I like to review and discuss essays in real time showing students my thought process in adjusting sections and words. I am calm and kind, and importantly, I like to leave my students with tangible changes that are implemented during our sessions. I want my students to feel accomplished at the end of our time together, so I also like to discuss goals at the beginning of each session. If we don't have a piece of writing to review, I like to brainstorm themes surrounding the theme being discussed so that the session is productive. Looking forward to working together!
