About Aleena
I am a current Medical Student at the University of Leeds, I love to tutor science, as I understand the subjects can be tough. However, from tutoring these subjects for over 5 years I understand what is needed to not only pass but to get those higher grades. I like to keep the lessons quite lively and interactive as I find that is the best learning environment and I cannot wait to work with you!

I can assist students with their understanding of knowledge and their exam technique for them to get the best results they can achieve. I have previously tutored which has helped me already acquire a lot of skills necessary to help students with their work and exams. From studying medicine, I have also been exposed to many different revision and teaching techniques giving me the confidence I can find the right methods that will work for you! Teaching Style I like to teach by first going through the content and making sure everyone understands the information. Then by practising some exam questions to see if the student is able to apply the knowledge to the question. After some exam practice, we can go through mark schemes to see where the student went wrong or to see what exactly the examiners want if the student is on the right lines. Exam technique and knowing what the question is asking whilst applying the knowledge accurately is essential. I have previously tutored for MyTutor, tutored privately and am currently tutoring for AceMedics. I understand what is needed from a capable tutor and I have learnt many skills from previous experiences. Good communication skills and organisational skills are vital.
