Tim is a versatile double bass tutor and player of the instrument. He has an incredible understanding of the double bass in terms of theory, jazz theory and jazz improvisation.
I reccomend Tim as a tutor simply because of his skills, knowledge and understanding of differentiate the task to enabled double bass student like myself to develop professionally within a short period of time both in soloing and walking bass lines.

He is great at explaining and teaching how a jazz standard is composed and played. As well as explaining its historical significance and place in jazz history.
