About Oda
I'm Oda
I am a Jazz-educated bass player with a bachelor's degree from NTNU in Norway and a master's in Vocal Studies from ICMP. I have my own jazz project, and I'm also part of an indie-rock band. I have experience playing funk/fusion, classical orchestras, musicals and more.
I'm very passionate about how we can use our voice to learn not only to sing, but also to learn other instruments. I love the combination of bass and voice, and I have worked with this combination since I started playing the bass at age 11.
So if you want to learn the bass on its own, or if you want to learn how to sing and play them together, you're at the right place!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to the student and the level of the student. I teach electric bass, double bass and voice, separately or together as a bass&voice lesson.
I often focus on how to learn something by ear, and how the student can develop the skills to learn what they want on their own. This gives the student confidence when playing at jam sessions, in band rehearsals, in concerts, or when just practising at home.
I also teach sight reading and music theory so the student can have a fundamental understanding of music.
