I had trouble in C programming and algorithm course. I am a computer science student in UBC. I ask Pedram to help me out for both of those courses. I think Pedram is really punctual and patient in conveying the information. He is also very talented and knows the concepts very well and do his best to transfer them to his students.

For my recent project for reinforcement learning in university, I need some basic understanding of the concept, since it seems too abstract for me. I try to learn in with Pedram. He taught me Python programming with GYM module for simple cases. The way he convey the high level concepts make me totally digest the underlying concept. If future, I also will ask him to help me through.

Pedram was my tutor for electrical engineering course (linear algebra) for about two years ago. The professor was not clear and I was about failing the course. After 7 session of tutoring, I could pass the course successfully and understand it as well. He was also teaching me MATLAB programming for my other course which for me as a person with no programming background was comprehensible. I think he is very confident about his knowledge and know how to convey the information.

I have three courses with Pedram; machine learning, robust control and MATLAB. He always teach in the easiest way possible which make it more comprehensible. He has also a scenes of humour, so it is fun time too. I've learned how to code neural networks and train them in MATLAB with Pedram for my master thesis.
