About Natascha
Hi! I’m Natascha, a Law and Psychology student at the University of Cape Town. I graduated high school as top Visual Arts student (93%) and second-highest in Design (92%), earning six distinctions alongside full colours for academics and public speaking. Before university, I spent six months solo-backpacking across three continents, self-funding the trip through au pairing, tutoring, and running creative small businesses.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in a lifelong passion for creativity, visual expression, and design thinking. Whether I'm painting, cataloguing gallery artwork, playing guitar, or designing products for my own business ideas, I’ve learned that true creative and academic growth happens when you have room to experiment without fear of making mistakes. High school and university gave me technical discipline and structure, but travelling the world and working directly with students taught me how to listen deeply and nurture individual artistic vision.
When you work with me, you get a tutor who is whole-heartedly invested in your creative journey. My goal is to help you build artistic confidence, refine your technique, and develop long-term creative problem-solving skills you can rely on for life, not just help you cram for an assignment in time (but that too ;))

Instead of stressing over tight deadlines or feeling stuck on a piece, my approach breaks down the creative process into manageable, confidence-building steps. Every lesson combines practical skill-building, visual analysis, and step-by-step guidance on your projects, including refining drawing techniques, organising portfolio work, or mastering theory. I tailor each session to your personal style and pace and create a patient, judgement-free space paired with the intense organisation, thoroughness, and detail that helped me place second in matric Design and earn Top student in Visual Arts.
I offer structured Art & Design tutoring for both CAPS and IEB curricula across all grade levels, as well as portfolio guidance and creative skill-building for adults.
