About Nia
Hi! My name is Nia Simpson. I am able to tutor essay writing, grammar, Language Arts, acting, biology, and geometry. My highest math taken is AP Statistics, my highest English taken is College English Composition, and my highest history taken is College US Gov and Civil History with a major in Biology at Miami-Dade College. I am currently pre-med and a part-time actress. I offer an extensive teaching service through note-taking and PowerPoint-based presentations. I am able to tutor through AP US History, AP European History, AP Biology, AP Seminar, research, LIT, and Lang. I have been tutoring for 2 years now. At one point in time, I was on a website quite like this as a customer, because of my ADHD and bad test-taking skills I struggled in classes not because I didn't understand the material but because I was being taught in a way that just wasn't for a mind like mine; by tutoring, my goal is to help students much like myself and to provide a safe learning place like the one I wish I had.

I offer an extensive tutoring service through PowerPoint-based presentations, pre-written notes, and practicing through one-on-one practice and worksheets. My lesson plans are at a high school (Honors)/College level (DE, AP, IB). I focus on getting my students ready for the classroom and working towards relating the activities in the classroom to the activities in front of them.
