About Abygail
Hi! I’m Abby, a high school student currently enrolled in AP Language and Composition and a college partnership program. I’ve been writing for over seven years, with experience in essays, thesis-driven arguments, poetry, and creative writing work.
I love helping students grow confident in their ideas and guiding them to turn rough drafts into writing they’re proud of. My approach is patient, supportive, and practical. I explain concepts in ways that make sense, without overwhelming “teacher talk.”
Whether you need help understanding a reading, building a strong thesis, organizing an essay, or polishing your final draft, I’m here to support your success. I’m committed to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where every student feels capable and confident.

My tutoring is supportive, practical, and built around helping writing finally click. I break big assignments into simple steps, explain ideas clearly, and give advice you can actually use.
A typical session might include reviewing your prompt, brainstorming, strengthening your thesis, building structure, and polishing analysis or grammar. I guide you, but you stay in control of your voice. Personal or school projects that involve creative writing are amazing too! I'll help you out with almost any kind of English/Writing topics.
