About Tisha
Hi! My name is Tisha and I am a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas. I also work as an EMT. I have been tutoring since high school and now serve as a teaching assistant for an EMT certification class. Tutoring is one of my favorite things, and I would love to bring the teaching skills I've gained over the last few years to a tutoring session with you!

I always come prepared for every lesson. Whether that means pre-writing a lesson outline, thinking of practice questions, or planning a challenging topic overview, I always put the time in to ensure a productive session. My teaching style is very adaptive, and changes as I learn more about how my student learns.

Tisha is an outstanding tutor. She deeply cares about all her students and goes the extra mile to ensure her students succeed. I would highly recommend Tisha!
Tisha always listens to what you need as a student and is very skilled at explaining rather difficult concepts! Not only that, but she never fails to make you feel comfortable to provide a safe learning environment. Thanks for all your help Tisha!
Tisha is a great teacher who does her due diligence with each peer. She analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the student to better accommodate each lesson for them because she cares about their success and makes sure they’re understanding the materials rather than just memorizing it.
Tisha is a very knowledgeable and caring individual. She always does her best to help others and executes all tasks flawlessly. Her proficiency is reflected in her career as an EMT, within which she has a leadership position.
