About Seren
I am a published researcher in Evolutionary Biology, and I have been delivering workshops and lessons for 5 years, teaching across disciplines and student demographics. I am a dynamic and charismatic tutor, aiming to add value and passion to subject matter. My experience working as a workshop assistant in the Grant Museum, as a theatre director and as a leader of a feminist workshop programme running across state schools in London means I have a huge variety of experience in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

I deliver tuition in a number of disciplines, ranging from GCSE, A Level to first year degree level, focussing on contextualising learning to add meaning and relevance to students' experience and interests. I am a firm advocate of collaborative learning, following a critical pedagogy framework, which means that I believe that we learn best when we work together towards a common goal. Therefore, I deliver quality content in a way that enables students to engage with it from their own comfort level and personal preferences - whether that's through discussion, games and workshops, or traditional exercises.
