About Joseph
Hi! I’m Joseph, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from UCSB with a passion for helping students succeed in math and science. During college, I worked on hands-on engineering projects, including designing and building a motorized workout machine that allows people with disabilities to exercise independently. This experience taught me how to apply technical concepts in real-world settings and communicate complex ideas in a clear and thoughtful way. After graduating, I joined Epic, the leading healthcare software company. There, I supported hospitals across the country and often had to learn unfamiliar systems and solve difficult technical problems in real time. That role strengthened my ability to think quickly, adapt to new information, and explain challenging material in ways that make sense to others. I am committed to helping students of all levels gain confidence, prepare for exams, and truly understand the subjects they are working through. My teaching style is patient and supportive, and I tailor each session to fit your learning style and goals. Whether you are looking to improve your grades or simply feel more confident in class, I am here to help you get there.

I specialize in tutoring high school and college-level math and science. This includes subjects like Algebra, Calculus, Physics, and foundational engineering concepts.
