About Sophia
I am an honors biopsychology major on a pre-med track at the University of California Santa Barbara. I am an active member of a competitive pre-health fraternity and am part of various other pre-med-oriented organizations. I am heavily involved in STEM-based and proactively involve myself in efforts to guide students from various backgrounds towards a career in STEM. I can teach a variety of subjects including general and organic chemistry and biology. I am dependable, and I commit time outside of lessons to answer questions and provide resources.

I have extensive and ongoing knowledge of Chemistry and biology principles, including organic chemistry, and have taken various courses in precalculus and calculus. I have several years of experience as both a mentor and a tutor, and I employ knowledge and materials from my past coursework in both college and high school to tutor students. I am flexible with scheduling and can connect with students on video call.
