About Kaitlin
I'm a sixth-year PhD candidate in the cellular, molecular and developmental biology concentration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. For the last twelve years, I have conducted research in five different labs covering subjects from breast cancer biology to bioinformatics. My current research focus is parasite biology. I have taken additional coursework in effective teaching and I look forward to working with you!

I have served as a teaching assistant for genetics and cell biology lab courses at the collegiate level. My approach is to find the student's strengths and build upon them. I give my students agency in how we approach the material to best meet their individual needs.
