About Mengting
Hi, I'm Mengting! I'm a passionate and patient tutor with a background in computer science and years of experience helping students understand challenging topics in a way that makes sense to them. Whether you're tackling tricky math problems, preparing for an exam, or learning to code for the first time, I'm here to support your learning journey. I will be graduating with honors from San José State University, where I worked as a Lab Instructor and created engaging curriculums for my students in the fields of programming and algorithms. I’m also experienced in leading teams, mentoring new learners, and creating a comfortable and inclusive space for students of all backgrounds. I believe in building confidence alongside knowledge—because when you truly understand the "why" behind what you're learning, everything starts to click. Let’s figure it out together!

Guided students through all lab assignments using several styles of teaching: verbal, visual, and hands-on. Ensured comfortability in students to ask questions and engaged with them in personalized ways. Reinforced creative thinking and problem-solving skills through course materials and teaching style.
