About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am currently studying English Language and Linguistics at University. I am a bit of an English nerd!
I have previously helped students feel confident in their English skills, so they could take the skills they learnt and apply them to any part of life, whether that be in school or not.
I hope to help you out with anything English-related that you may be struggling with, whether that be spelling, grammar, essay writing, or anything in between!

- My approach to teaching is interactive and engaging, focusing on my student's particular areas of concern and tailoring the lessons to help them.
- Lessons are typically up to 45 minutes, with a 5 minute break so students stay engaged.
- I have tutored primary school children previously. I also study English Language and Linguistics, so I have a strong knowledge of the foundations of English.
- My lessons are for children up to, and including, Key Stage 3.
- Alternatively, for people learning English as a foreign language.
