I start with a basic question or the level that you're already at, and walk you through the question step by step. You will then be able to attempt your own questions, with my help and assistance where necessary. I can help by going through past paper questions and looking at topics that you need to look at the most, moving at a pace comfortable with you.
I am currently a Maths student at the University of Nottingham. I have been tutoring for over 3 years, in and outside of my school. I have covered exam material from KS1 to GCSE in maths and have helped over 10 students with them all achieving or exceeding their target grades. When I was at sixth-form senior teachers would often ask me to tutor younger students who had exceptionally high targets or students who were far from targets.

Employment history:
Tutoring:
I have tutored younger, less able students in Maths and Science and throughout my school career which allows me to view problems from a different point of view for students of all abilities. Senior teachers often would ask me to tutor specific students who had exceptionally high targets or students who were far from targets.
Interests & Achievements:
I have been playing the piano since the age of 13 and have achieved grade 4. Throughout my time at school I Volunteered as a Young Leader at Guides, helping to organise events for our Guide unit and associated Brownie units. Prior to this I was a Guide within the same unit and attended camps and a variety of fundraisers, in particular for World Thinking Day, helping out Guides in less advantaged areas. I enjoy this as it gives me an opportunity to meet new people and help others. The highlight of being a guide was achieving my Baden Powell award, of which I am very proud.
