About Ava
I am studying Politics and Philosophy at the London School of Economics with a particular passion for Global Politics. I am passionate about my studies and would love to transfer that passion to students who may be struggling in these areas as well as more generally helping to develop their understanding. I have grown up with dyslexia and understand the struggles that academics can bring. I was never the most confident student in school but I realised that a large part of that was down to a lack of understanding. Allowing a student to flourish within the school environment not only to help them now but also further down the line is a key aim.

The first lesson with students will be introductory and allow me to better understand the student and their needs. This will include learning their strengths, areas that need improvement, as well as what teaching methods they find most useful. I will work with the student week to week, basing each session on their requests. Resources will depend on each student but may include: PowerPoint, worksheets, exam questions and videos.
