About Sanidhya
Hi there! I am a passionate social science educator and a Master of Arts (MA) graduate in political science from Banaras Hindu University with a deep commitment to making learning both engaging and highly relevant. Currently, I am also an aspiring PhD researcher focusing on public policy and the ethical governance of modern AI-driven technology.
With a strong academic background that bridges traditional social sciences and modern research analytics, I bring a unique and dynamic perspective to my teaching. I believe that subjects like History, Civics, Sociology, and Political Science shouldn't just be about memorizing textbooks. Instead, I help my students connect these foundational concepts to the real-world issues happening around us today.
Why choose me as your tutor?
Tailored Learning: Whether you are a school student preparing for crucial board exams or a college student tackling complex research papers, I adapt my teaching style entirely to your syllabus, pace, and individual learning needs.
Modern Expertise: Because I actively work with advanced research methods and data analytics, I teach my students how to think critically, construct rock-solid arguments, and analyze information like true researchers.
Patience and Support: I pride myself on creating a welcoming, stress-free environment. I know that humanities subjects can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I am here to ensure that no question ever goes unanswered.

As a PhD researcher and academic mentor, I believe that modern social science cannot exist in a vacuum. My approach is deeply interdisciplinary, bridging traditional sociological and political theories with modern conceptual analysis and social science methodologies. I do not just teach students what to think; I equip them with the analytical frameworks and technical thinking to investigate how and why systems function the way they do.
I utilize a project-based and critically applied methodology. Rather than relying on rote memorization, I encourage active research and debate.
For theoretical concepts: I use case-study analysis, focusing particularly on public policy, governance mechanisms, and the socio-economic impacts of emerging technologies. We actively critique concepts like techno-solutionism in public policy.
For applied research: I integrate quantitative and computational methods into social science. I teach students how to harness tools like R, Python, and SQL for statistical analysis, allowing them to test social theories against real-world datasets.
A standard 60-minute session is highly structured to maximize both comprehension and practical application:
Conceptual Framing (15 mins): We begin by unpacking a specific theory, policy, or research methodology. We establish the "big picture" and define key terminology.
Applied Analysis & Tool Building (30 mins): We transition from theory to practice. Depending on the student's goals, this might involve analyzing a specific public policy framework, extract demographic data, or exploring the architecture of a public policy model to understand its societal impact.
Critical Synthesis & Strategy (15 mins): We close by critically auditing our findings. We discuss the fallibility of the models or policies we examined, ensuring students leave with a nuanced, transparent understanding of the topic. We also set clear goals for the next session.
I use a highly interactive, real-world methodology that moves away from rote learning:
For School Students: I focus on building a rock-solid foundation. We break down complex civic, historical, and social concepts using relatable, everyday examples. I heavily emphasize essay writing, structuring arguments, and exam-taking strategies so students feel confident and prepared.
For College Students: I introduce a more project-based and critical approach. We dive into case studies, public policy analysis, and research methodologies. For students interested in the modern landscape, I also integrate an understanding of how data and technology (like AI) impact society, bridging the gap between textbook theory and contemporary real-world issues.
