About Rebecca
Hello! My name is Rebecca, and I am a second-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of Pretoria, specializing in Senior and FET Phase education with EGD, Technology and History as my teaching subjects.
I am passionate about helping learners reach their full potential and gain confidence in their abilities. My experience includes completing teaching practicals at Rietondale High School, volunteering at Peps Motheong in Atteridgeville, and assisting with EGD learning materials and textbook development.
I offer tutoring in English and specialize in Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) and Technology. I work with both primary school and high school learners and believe that every learner has unique strengths and learning needs. I take the time to get to know my students so that I can adapt my teaching style to suit them individually.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a learner finally understand a concept they have been struggling with and watching their confidence grow. I strive to create a supportive, relaxed, and encouraging learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I am hardworking, creative, friendly, and dedicated to helping my learners succeed. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to motivate learners, celebrate their achievements, and make learning an enjoyable experience. I always aim to go the extra mile and support my learners in a way that fits their busy lives and individual goals.
