About Danny
I'm a secound year mechanical engineeringing student at the University Of Manchester. Thus, I'm able to link a lot of the criteria to real world applications, from experience this helps the students commit knowledge to their long term memory more effectively. I have a thorough appreciation for how to prepare correctly to exceed expectations up to A level standard. For me it boils down to two things, you have to make the content relatable in order to keep the student engaged, and you have to effectively demonstrate how to translate understanding into attainment. I construct all my lessons based on the current appropriate exam body specification. I bridge the gap between knowledge and attainment by centering my lessons around carefully chosen exam problems and encourage the students to focus on a sound exam technique. Every student is different and so I often use the first lesson to break down the students current ability and their aspirations; as well as trying to establish a connection with them so I can better tailor future lessons specifically for their needs.
