I am a young, vibrant tutor with some experience in teaching the sciences. I'm current in my 2nd year of my MPhys course, studying at Newcastle University. I teach my subjects in a way to make them entertaining and meaningful. Lessons can either be face-to-face or online, but will always involve discussions and will be active. Science can be fun if it is looked at in the right way. I like to make lessons as informal as possible, while still getting the key ideas across.
I have been giving lessons for a couple of years, so not too long, and have taught a couple of students GCSE science in those two years. Both of these students improved their grades by at least two grades from their predicted grades before tuition. The course will follow the natural progression of the specification of the exam board, with some key revision techniques towards exam season.
I currently am a full time student studying Physics (MPhys) at Newcastle University. I have excellent computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel & Power Point on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 platforms, as well as iOS and macOS products.
