About Claire
I am currently a first-year student at the University of Waterloo pursuing a Math degree. Through my own experience as a student, I understand that everyone learns differently and that some concepts may be challenging to comprehend, but as a tutor, I focus on creating an environment where students can ask questions without being embarrassed and can grow in their math skills.

As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to understand why the answer is correct. I’ll adjust lessons to each student's level and learning style, whether they need extra support with a topic or want to challenge themselves with more difficult problems.
Classes are held online, making it easy to learn from the comfort of home. I aim to create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
My tutoring covers basic math skills, homework and test preparations and reviewing difficult concepts for all grades!
