About Sam

I achieved Grade 8 in GCSE Maths, Grade 9 in Physics, and Grade 9 in Chemistry, followed by three A grades at A-level. Studying Economics at university has allowed me to continue developing my mathematical and analytical skills, which I enjoy sharing with my students. Although I'm beginning my professional tutoring journey, I have experience helping friends and family improve their understanding of Maths and Science. During sixth form, I also served as Head Prefect of Maths, where I supported younger students and helped foster a positive attitude towards learning.

About the lesson

My lessons are friendly, patient, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I focus on building confidence by breaking down challenging topics into simple, manageable steps, while also developing strong exam technique through worked examples, past paper questions, and targeted practice. I have past experience with both AQA and Edexcel exam boards and can teach both higher and foundation courses. Whether you're looking to build confidence, catch up with the curriculum, or achieve the highest GCSE grades, I'd be delighted to help you reach your goals.
